State Department cables warned of safety issues at Wuhan lab studying bat coronaviruses

Two years before the novel coronavirus pandemic upended the world, U.S. Embassy officials visited a Chinese research facility in the
city of Wuhan several times and sent two official warnings back to Washington about inadequate safety at the lab,
which was conducting risky studies on coronaviruses from bats.

2年前、米国大使館職員は武漢市の中国の研究施設を数回訪問し、コウモリからのコロナウイルスの危険な研究を行っていた中国の研究室について
安全性が不十分であり危険だと公式に警告をワシントンに送っていました。
